The spirit of assisting Xizang originated from the assisting policies implemented by the first gen-eration of leaders of the Party and the country.This spirit represents a summation and elevation of the experienc-es gained from the assisting work in Xizang over the past 70 years since the founding of New China.Systematical-ly studying the formation,connotations,and practical value of the spirit of assisting Xizang can,at the theoretical level,deepen existing research findings,expand the understanding of the spiritual lineage of the CPC,and pro-mote the construction of a theoretical framework for the spirit of assisting Xizang.
