From the 1950s to the 1980s,as China-Pakistan relations warmed up,Pakistan made more re-quests for aid.As one of the most developed cities of China,Shanghai actively undertook the task of aiding Paki-stan on behalf of the country.Through means such as aiding in the construction of complete projects and providing complete sets of equipment,training various talents for Pakistan,dispatching experts and technical personnel to aid Pakistan,and providing general material aid and"disaster relief aid",Shanghai has provided multi-faceted support to Pakistan.These aids are based on Shanghai's high-quality and advantageous resources and implement-ed in the form of collaborative mutual assistance.Eventually,they've benefited the Pakistani government and peo-ple and been highly recognized by the recipient country,becoming an important example of the effectiveness of China's aid to Pakistan.
