A Study on"the Seal of Auspicious Nuomenhan on Administering Xizang Af-fairs with Yellow Hat Teachings"Preserved in Potala Palace
The seal of auspicious Nuomenhan on administering Xizang affairs with yellow hat teachings was given by the Qing central government when it appointed Dimu Hutuketu as the regent of the Xizang local govern-ment,which is an important witness of the establishment of the regent system in Xizang by the Qing central gov-ernment,and it has high cultural relic value and important political significance.Based on relevant historical documents and seal relics,this paper mainly investigates the history of Nuomenhan seal,expounds the relation-ship of replacement between Xizang regent and seal in Qing Dynasty.It also analyzes the artistic characteristics and cultural connotation and holds that this seal is an important historical artifact in the formation and develop-ment of the Chinese nation as one community.
