Spatiotemporal dynamics and determinants of the culture-ecology-tourism coordinated development in Huaihai Economic Zone
The coordinated development among culture, ecology, and tourism sectors is integral to unifying ecologi-cal,social,and economic benefits in Huaihai Economic Zone, thereby advancing regional development of a high caliber.By constructing an evaluative index for the coupling and coordination among these three systems,methodol-ogies such as the composite evaluation index, coupling coordination degree model, and grey relational analysis model were applied to investigate the spatiotemporal evolution and the stimulating factors for coupling coordination within Huaihai Economic Zone from 2015 to 2021.The findings suggest minor variances in ecosystem evaluation across the cities within the zone in each year, whereas substantial disparities are noted in the composite evaluations of culture and tourism.Tourism development,in general, demonstrates a recognizable lag,and a similar lag in cultural development is identified within certain cities.Over the years, the three systems'coupling coordination degrees frequently resided in a"barely coordinated"state, depicting a fluctuating trend that follows an"increase-decrease-in-crease"pattern,accompanied by significant spatial disparities across different cities.Jining,Linyi, and Xuzhou ex-emplify higher coupling coordination degrees.Influenced by five categories of driving factors, the mean relational grades reveal a prioritization as follows:industrial structure>administrative competence of the government>eco-nomic development level>market demand>level of openness. The enhancement of the regional coordination level critically hinges on addressing the developmental shortcomings and consolidating the foundational dynamism of urban development.
