Evaluation of competitiveness of scientific and technological talents of colleges and universities in Jiangsu based on second-order confirmatory factor analysis model
Scientific and technological talents of colleges and universities in Jiangsu were taked as the research object and 13 indicators across 5 dimensions, namely talent scale, scientific and technological support, scientific and tech-nological achievements, achievement transformation, exchange and cooperation, were selected to construct an evalu-ation index system of competitiveness of scientific and technological talents of colleges and universities in Jiangsu.Based on the relevant data of scientific and technological talents of 61 colleges and universities in Jiangsu of 2018,the second-order confirmatory factor analysis model was adoped to verify the rationality of the evaluation index sys-tem,and competitiveness of scientific and technological talents of colleges and universities in Jiangsu had significant positive effects on talent scale, scientific and technological support, scientific and technological achievements, achievement transfor-mation,exchange and cooperation;talent scale, scientific and technological support, scientific and technological achieve-ments,achievement transformation, exchange and cooperation also had significant positive effects on the corresponding indi-cators.Further,the TOPSIS method integrating isolation forest algorithm was used to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of competitiveness of scientific and technological talents of colleges and universities in Jiangsu of 2018,the results indicated that the comprehensive competitiveness of scientific and technological talents of Nanjing University,Southeast University,Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics,Hohai University and Jiangnan University was relatively stronger, but the results of the colleges and universities in the five evaluation dimensions were not completely consistent.
