This paper introduces Professor WAN Peng's clinical experience in treating pulmonary nodules by integrating the theory of latent pathogens with six meridian syndrome differentiation.Professor WAN Peng believes that the essence of pulmonary nodules is latent pathogens, with the core pathogenesis being"dysfunction of the Shaoyang pivot and latent pathogens lodging in the Taiyin."Thus, the Shaoyang-Taiyin axis is crucial for latent pathogen-induced diseases. He proposes the general principle of"regulating the Shaoyang to expel latent pathogens and strengthening the Taiyin to consolidate the fundamental origin."Combined with constitution syndrome differentiation,he puts forward a dynamic perspective on syndrome differentiation of six meridians transmission and constitution transformation.Through differentiating constitution, disease, and meridians, the treatment aims to intercept the disease course and achieve good effect.
