Objective To investigate the value of contrast-enhanced ultrasound(CEUS)in differential diagnosis of benign and malignant intrahepatic nodules. Methods The clinical imaging data of 90 patients with focal hepatic lesions admitted to the hospital between April 2021 and April 2023 were analyzed retrospectively.Pathological results are the"gold standard".Receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC)was plotted, and the AUC value, specificity and sensitivity of conventional ultrasound and CEUS in iden-tifying benign and malignant intrahepatic nodules were analyzed by curve comparison. Results ROC curve analysis showed that the AUC value, sensitivity and specificity were 0.594,40.00%and 78.75%in the diagnosis of benign and malignant nodules of liver by conventional ultrasound. The AUC value of CEUS in the diagnosis of benign and malignant liver nodules was 0.856,the sensitivity was 80.00%,and the specificity was 91.25%.The AUC value of CEUS diagnosis was significantly higher than that of conventional ultrasound diagnosis(P<0.05).Conclusion CEUS is more effective than conventional ultrasound in differentiating benign and malig-nant hepatic nodules, which is worth popularising.
