Application of the detailed staged nursing model constructed based on disease severity grading in rehabilitation period of elderly patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease
Objective To observe the value of the detailed staged nursing model constructed based on disease severity grading in rehabilitation period of elderly patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD).Methods A total of 162 patients with AECDPD admitted to the hospital from June 2022 to June 2023 were selected as the study subjects and ran-domly divided into a control group and an observation group,with 81 patients in each group.The control group received routine nursing,while the observation group received detailed staged nursing based on disease severity grading.The St.George's Respirato-ry Questionnaire(SGRQ)scores,6-minute walk test(6MWT)results and Exercise of Self Care Agency(ESCA)scores of the two groups were compared.Results After treatment,the SGRQ score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group,the distance of 6MWT was greater than that of the control group,and the ESCA score was higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion The detailed staged nursing model constructed based on disease severity grading can improve the quality of life and self-care ability of patients with AECOPD,and improve their pulmonary function.
