Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of Banxia Xiexin Decoction in the treatment of mixed cold and heat syn-drome with Helicobacter pylori associated gastritis(HPAG).Methods 193 cases of HPAG patients were taken as the study object,98 cases in the experimental group and 95 cases in the control group.The experimental group received Banxia Xiexin Decoction plus or minus treatment,and the control group received standard"quadruple therapy"treatment,the course of treatment was 2 weeks.Symptom score,overall effective rate,helicobacter pylori eradication rate and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.Results After treatment,the symptom score of both groups decreased significant-ly,the symptom score of the experimental group was lower than that of the control group(P＜0.05);The total effective rate was 95.9％in the experimental group and 89.5％in the control group(P＞0.05).The eradication rate of HP in control group was slightly higher than that in experimental group,but the difference was not statistically significant(P＞0.05).The incidence of adverse reac-tions in experimental group was lower than that in control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion The overall efficacy of the two groups in the treatment of HPAG with mixed cold and heat is similar.However,Banxia Xiexin Decoction has more advantages in improving the clinical symptoms of HPAG and has less adverse drug reactions.
