Objective To explore the effects of dual flow rate and low dose of contrast agent on images quality of coronary seg-ments in CT angiography. Methods A total of 108 patients undergoing CT angiography in the hospital were enrolled between Febru-ary 2021 and March 2022.According to admission time, they were divided into observation group(54 cases, dual flow rate and low dose of contrast agent)and control group(54 cases, routine contrast agent). The scores of images quality and CT values of coronary segments were compared between the two groups. Results The score of images quality in observation group was higher than that in control group[(3.18±0.61)points vs(2.91±0.63)points;t=2.262,P=0.026].There was no significant difference in CT values of aor-tic root, initial part of right coronary artery, middle part of circumflex branch and distal end of anterior descending branch between the two groups(P>0.05).CT values in initial part of left coronary artery and distal end of right coronary artery in observation group were lower than those in control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of dual flow rate and low dose of contrast agent in CT angiography can improve images quality of coronary segments and has no significant effect on CT values in different parts of coro-nary artery, which can meet clinical diagnosis requirements.
