Objective To analyze the spectrum of diseases in the emergency internal medicine department of Lhasa People's Hos-pital from 2020 to 2022.Methods Retrospective analysis was used to analyze the disease spectrum of all patients in the emergency department of our hospital in recent 3 years.Results A total of 15793 cases were included,including 5331(33.8)％in 2020,3813(24.1)％in 2021 and 6649(42.1)％in 2022.There were 8221 males and 7572 females,with a male to female ratio of 1.08:1.There were 7173 patients(45.40％)aged 15-39 years.74 patients(0.50％)aged ≥90 years;The top 3 cases in emergency internal medicine were digestive diseases(30.67％),respiratory diseases(25.89％)and circulatory diseases(10.46％).Among the single diseases,the proportion of plateau specific acute mountain sickness in 2020,2021 and 2022 was 10.2％,12.0％and 12.9％,respectively.Conclu-sions The number of patients treated in Lhasa People's Hospital in the three years from 2020 to 2022 was roughly equal;The top three cases in emergency medicine were digestive system,respiratory system and circulatory system.Most of the patients were male,and the age was 15-39 years old.Among them,the proportion of acute mountain sickness,which is unique to plateau,is increasing year by year.
