Objective To explore the application of warm nursing based on interactive standard theory in elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with hypertension.Methods A total of 120 elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus com-bined with hypertension admitted to our hospital from January 2021 to January 2023 were randomly divided into control group and observation group,with 60 cases in both.Medication compliance,blood glucose,blood pressure and dietary behavior management scores of the two groups were analyzed.Results The medication compliance rate of the observation group was 96.67％,the dietary behavior management score was higher than that of the control group(P＜0.05),the blood glucose and blood pressure levels of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P＜0.05).Conclusion Warm nursing based on the interactive standard theory can significantly improve the medication compliance of elderly patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with hyper-tension,improve blood glucose and blood pressure levels and dietary behavior management.
