The Chinese Communist Party's Quest for Modernization in the Yan'an Period—A Study Based on the Literature on Industrialization Published in the Jiefang Daily of Yan'an
Modernization is a major historical issue on which the CPC has been striving since its inception.During the Yan'an period,the CPC emphasized the promotion of modernization based on industry,and regarded industrial-ization as a major issue of the times that must be resolved in order to achieve national liberation and development.In the process of leading the people to build industry,the CPC accumulated and summarized experience in industri-al development in terms of improving the leadership system,improving product quality,improving factory manage-ment,and upgrading the quality of workers.Under the guidance of the spirit of the Seventh National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC),the CPC analyzed the direction of the development of China's industry in the post-war period,the source of its confidence,and the ultimate goal,and pushed forward the development of the in-dustry in the post-war period with tenacious perseverance.The modernization exploration of the CPC during the Yan'an period has laid an important foundation for the historical formation process of Chinese modernization.
