The paratexts of Yan'an Jiefang Daily's translated literature,including the editor's and translator's notes,the annotations of the translator,images,layout and other forms,together with text constitute the organic whole of the text.The paratexts illustrates the specific strategies the community of editors and translators use to in-tervene and affect readers'reading,presenting the communication and negotiation among the publisher,the editor,the translator and readers from the selection of the text to the newspaper publishing.Generally speaking,the sec-ondary text is always consistent with the main text,and the two jointly publicize and strengthen the Party's political and literary ideas in the party newspaper,play the function of guidance and education,and contribute to the final victory of the revolutionary war.Discord between paratext and text will show the complex relationship between the literary concept,translation behavior and social and cultural context in the Yan'an period,and records the chan-ging process of literary translation norms.
