"Being popular and enjoyable"has been the basic requirement of the Party for literary and artistic works since the Yan'an period,including the Party's requirements for the content,form,and evaluation criteria of liter-ary and artistic works.This requirement has been repeatedly reiterated as a key word in the literary and artistic poli-cies in different political contexts.The Party's advocacy and utilization of the"popular and enjoyable"literary con-cept have always been synchronized with the spirit of the times.Based on different historical contexts,the promotion of the"popular and enjoyable"literary concept has always been grounded in the real spiritual needs of the people and the practical issues present in literary work.The ecological diversification of literature and art is already the re-ality of literary and art creation.However,the nature and goal of the socialist literary and art cause determine that the fundamental question of the literary and art creation"for whom"in the dynamic social structure cannot be shak-en.
