Based on panel data from 31 provinces in China from 2013 to 2023,and empirically tests the empowerment mechanism of the digital economy on them.Research shows that the modernization level of the Chinese style rural industrial chain is steadily increasing at the national level and decreasing from east to west at the regional level;The digital economy has a positive impact on the modernization of Chinese rural industrial chain,which is manifested as a decreasing trend from east to west;The digital economy can enhance the resilience of the agricultural industry and promote the agglomeration of productive service industries to improve the modernization level of Chinese rural industrial chain.
