Wang Gen inherited Wang Yangming's idea of"joy as the essence of the heart".He defined"joy"from the angle of ontology,and creatively revealed the vitality characteristic of"joy".On the one hand,"joy"has autonomy over itself.On the other hand,"joy"has the initiative to dominate other things.Wang Gen divided the"Liangzhi Theory"into two levels:The first one,manifesting the clear character of the individual.The second one,the"Daren"study of human interaction.Different lev-els,different means for learning,but the ultimate goal is to return to the noumenon of"joy".
