The process of sinicization of Marxist literary theory and the development of modern literature go hand in hand.Among them, the birth and development of revolutionary literature have grown through repeated argumentation and continuous adjust-ment.The New Literature Movement that emerged from 1918 to 1926 played an important role in the dissemination of Marxist lit-erary theory. The left-wing literature from 1927 to 1936 promoted the sinicization of Marxist literary theory. From 1937 to 1949,the combination of Marxism and China's revolutionary practice gave rise to Mao Zedong's literary and artistic ideas, thereby en-riching and developing Marxist literary and artistic views. This article takes the development and evolution of Marxist literary the-ory in China and its impact on modern literary creation as the research content, and takes the literary ideas and propositions of representative writers in different periods as the starting point,in order to reveal the important influence of Marxist literary theory on the development of modern Chinese literature.
