The Eleventh Amendment to the Criminal Law has revised drug-related crimes and added one of Article 142 of the Criminal Law.It abolishes the legal fiction of counterfeit and substandard drugs;expands the scope of criminal subjects from pro-ducers and sellers to providers;emphasizes the safety and authenticity of the production process;and removes the upper limit of fines.While responding to social concerns,these revisions also reflect the high importance that the CPC and the state attach to the people's right to life and health.It can be said that the revision in the Eleventh Amendment to the Criminal Law is of great significance for safeguarding the lives and health of the people.
