Agriculture,as the foundation of the national economy,is not only crucial for national food security and farmers'well-being but also an important force driving sustainable economic and social development.The concept of new quality productive forces proposed by General Secretary Xi Jinping has significant implications for the high-quality development of family farms.Based on the current state of family farm development in China,this paper explores the main challenges in the development process of family farms.It proposes effective paths to empower the high-quality development of family farms through new quality productive forces,focusing on aspects such as strengthening scientific and technological innovation,emphasizing green produc-tion,nurturing professional talents,and actively pursuing transformation and upgrading.
