University counselors are the backbone of ideological and political education for university students.With the continu-ous deepening of reform and opening up,Chinese society has undergone rapid transformation,resulting in significant changes in the social environment and ideology that cannot be ignored.This article begins by examining the current integrity issues among u-niversity counselors and elaborates on the necessity of building a culture of integrity.It identifies the main risk points for integrity prevention and control in the work of university counselors and analyzes the reasons for these risks.The paper proposes risk pre-vention and control strategies,including building a new model for fostering a culture of integrity,strengthening integrity educa-tion,standardizing the implementation of integrity supervision in counselors'positions,and enhancing the professional well-being of counselors.
