This paper explores the logical problems associated with the theory of"noun-verb inclusion"from various perspectives, including a comparison between Eastern and Western logical traditions, the logical syllogism, syntactic analysis, and syntactic distribution features. It is suggested that the current debate does not address the key conditions required for verbs to serve as subjects and objects. In examining the nominalization of verbs,it is necessary to focus on which types of verbs in Chinese allow other verbs to act as their subjects and objects, thereby providing a new perspective for the study of word classes in Chinese.
