Public Knowledge,attitude and practice and prevention strategies of HPV vaccine based on online Q&A text
Objective To explore the public's concern about human papilloma virus(HPV)vaccine and its evolution trend,so as to put forward countermeasures and suggestions for the prevention of cervical cancer by HPV vaccination in China.Methods On March 14,2022,Python crawlers were used to capture all the Q&A texts in the discussion,essence and waiting for answers under the topic of"HPV vaccine"from the"Zhihu"website.The LDA topic model was used to explore the topic of public concern.Based on the Knowledge-Attitude-Practice(KAP)model theory,the topics were divided by the dimension of health behavior change.Combining the topic intensity index and time series analysis,the evolution context of each concerned topic was revealed.Results There were 8 topics about HPV vaccine in Zhihu users.Based on the health behavior change model of KAP,HPV infection and high-risk factors,HPV vaccine development and marketing,vaccination knowledge,and HPV vaccine and cervical cancer prevention belonged to the topic of knowledge dimension,HPV vaccine vaccination hesitation belonged to the topic of attitude dimension,and vaccine types and selection,comparison between domestic and imported vaccines,and HPV vaccine reservation channels belonged to the topic of practice dimension.According to the trend of topic development over time,eight topics could be divided into slow development,rapid growth,mature development and gradual decline.Conclusions Zhihu users'focusing on HPV vaccine are comprehensive and systematic,and the topics of knowledge dimension and practice dimension are the core needs.In general,the focus of users is gradually changing from the knowledge dimension to the vaccination practice dimension.Accordingly,this paper proposes a KAP intervention strategy for HPV vaccination to prevent cervical cancer in China.
