Analysis on the abnormal results of occupational health examination of 26722 silica dust workers in Sichuan Province in 2022
Objective To understand the occupational health status of silicon dust workers in Sichuan Province,to identify occupational health problems by analyzing their occupational health examination results, and to provide reference for formulating silicosis prevention and control strategies. Methods All occupational health examination data(excluding pre-employment)of workers exposed to silica dust in Sichuan Province in 2022 were exported from the Sichuan Occupational Disease Prevention and Control Comprehensive Management Information System and the Occupational Disease and Health Hazard Factor Monitoring Information System of the China Center for Disease Control and Prevention.Software SPSS 26.0 was used to analyze abnormal situation of the examination indicators,x2 test was used for inter-group comparison, and the test level was α=0.05.Results Among 26 722 silica dust workers,4 235 had abnormal lung function(detection rate 15.85%)and 47 had pneumoconiosis like changes(detection rate 0.18%).The top three areas with high detection rates of pneumoconiosis like changes were Neijiang City,Chengdu City, and Leshan City, with rates of 0.52%,0.41%and 0.35%,respectively.While the top three areas in the detection rate of abnormal lung function were Yibin City,Aba Prefecture and Bazhong City, with rates of 20.96%,20.55%and 20.37%,respectively.There were statistically significant differences among different regions in the detection rates of pneumoconiosis like changes and pulmonary dysfunction(P<0.05).People with pulmonary dysfunction were mainly distributed in manufacturing, mining and construction industries, and there was a statistically significant difference in the detection rate among different industries(x2=45.983,P<0.001).People with pneumoconiosis like changes and abnormal lung function were mainly distributed in small businesses. With the increase of service length, the rate of abnormal lung function showed a gradually increasing trend(x2trend=68.886,P<0.001).Conclusions There were a large number of workers exposed to silica dust in Sichuan Province, with a low rate of pneumoconiosis like changes. However, the rate of pulmonary dysfunction was high, and there was an obvious regional and industrial clustering.Active measures should be taken to reduce the health impact of silica dust on workers.
