Fuzzy combination of TOPSIS and RSR for comprehensively assessing of surveillance results for iodine deficiency diseases in the key populations of Sichuan Province from 2018 to 2022
Objective In order to explore a suitable comprehensive evaluation method for the monitoring effect of iodine deficiency diseases in the key populations in Sichuan province,so as to improve the quality of monitoring and optimize the monitoring program, and to prevent and control iodine deficiency diseases accurately. Methods According to the requirements of the"Sichuan Province Key Population iodine deficiency disease Surveillance Program",the monitoring was carried out,and the approximate ideal solution ranking method(TOPSIS method),rank sum ratio method(RSR method)and the fuzzy combination method of the two were used to evaluate the monitoring effect comprehensively of iodine deficiency disease in key populations in Sichuan province in 2018-2022;The evaluation indicators of the monitoring effect of iodine deficiency diseases included the coverage of iodized salt, qualification rate of iodized salt, qualified consumption rate of iodized salt of residents, median urinary iodine in students aged 8-10 years, median urinary iodine in pregnant women, median urinary iodine in women of childbearing age, median urinary iodine in lactating women, median urinary iodine in infants aged 0-2 years and the goiter rate in children aged 8-10 years. Results The ranking order of evaluation results of TOPSIS was 2022(0.585 4),2021(0.500 9),2018(0.450 4),2020(0.436 3)and 2019(0.417 3),and according to the evaluation of RSR method, the ranking order from the largest to the smallest was 2021(0.800 0),2022(0.711 1),2019(0.533 3),2018(0.511 1)and2020(0.4444).According to the fuzzy set theory, the W1Ci+W2 RSR values were sorted according to the"majority rule",and the ranking order was 2021,2022,2018,2019 and 2020.Although the sorting values varied from method to method, the overall trend was consistent. Conclusions The combination of TOPSIS method and RSR method can overcome the limitations of single TOPSIS method or RSR method, and it is suitable for promotion and application in the evaluation of the monitoring effect of iodine deficiency disease in key populations.
