Effects of health education on postoperative rehabilitation and quality of life in patients with endometriosis:a meta-analysis
Objective To explore the effects of postoperative health education on medication compliance and quality of life in patients with endometriosis,so as to help patients formulate targeted postoperative nursing measures,improve their compliance behavior,and effectively promote the rehabilitation process.Methods A compound logistic search method was used with"endometriosis(in Chinese)","endometriosis(an abbreviation in Chinese)","health education(in Chinese)","quality of life(in Chinese)","endometriosis(in English)","health education(in English)"and so on as search terms.Pubmed,Medline,EMbase,CNKI database,Wanfang database,VIP database and other databases were searched,and randomized controlled trials on health education for patients with endometriosis after surgery were screened.Review Manager 5.3 software was used for meta-analysis.The merge statistics were statistically significant with P<0.05.Results The combined results of patients'health knowledge awareness scores showed that Z=14.27(P<0.001).The combined results of the quality of life of physical dimension showed that Tau2=0.21,Chi2=13.88,df=3,and I2=78%,suggesting that there was heterogeneity in the combined literature.The random effect model analysis showed that the result was Z=3.53(P<0.001).The combined results of the quality of life of psychological dimension showed that Tau2=0.00,Chi2=1.51,df=3,and I2=0%,suggesting that there was no significant heterogeneity in the combined literature.Z=7.48(P<0.00l).The combined results of medication compliance of patients showed that Z=4.00(P<0.001),and the difference was statistically significant.Conclusions The implementation of health education in patients with endometriosis after surgery is helpful to improve the disease cognition of patients,improve their postoperative medication compliance,and further improve the quality of life of patients after surgery.
