Analysis of knowledge and influencing factors of hepatitis C prevention among sex workers and drug users in Panzhihua City 2021
Objective To understand the status quo and influencing factors of hepatitis C prevention and treatment among prostitutes and drug users in Panzhihua City,and to provide scientific basis for the prevention and treatment of hepatitis C in the future.Methods Combined with the monitoring work of AIDS sentinel sites in Panzhihua City in 2021,a questionnaire survey was carried out among the two groups of prostitutes and drug users in accordance with the implementation Plan of the National Hepatitis C Knowledge Awareness Survey.The contents include general demographic information,hepatitis C prevention and treatment knowledge,and behavioral information.The questionnaire data were analyzed by SPSS 20.0 software,x2 test was used to compare the rates,and the influencing factors were analyzed by Logistic regression model with the test level α=0.05.Results A total of 800 prostitutes and 800 drug users were investigated.57.0%of prostitutes and 66.13%of drug users were aware the prevention and treatment of hepatitis C,and the awareness rate was low and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The frequency of condom use was low,the knowledge of hepatitis C core prevention and control was not comprehensive,the education level and nationality were the main influencing factors,the lower the education level,the lower the awareness rate,the Han nationality awareness rate was higher than other nationalities.Conclusions The awareness rate of prevention and treatment knowledge of hepatitis C in the two groups is low.Health education activities should be strengthened for people with low education level of other ethnic groups,focusing on the transmission of hepatitis C,treatment outcome,safe sex and other knowledge,and the publicity content is vivid and diverse,so as to improve the health awareness and self-protection ability of the population.
