Evaluation of the effectiveness of health management for type 2 diabetes patients in primary level medical institutions from 2015 to 2022
Objective To evaluate the implementation effectiveness of health management services for Type 2 diabetes patients under the National Basic Public Health Services and Universal Preventive Healthcare Services in Luzhou city from 2015 to 2022.To provide a basis for further improvement of diabetes health management measures and policies and to improve the level of diabetes management in primary level medical institutions.Methods Annual health examination data for Type 2 diabetes patients under the management of primary level medical institutions in Luzhou City were exported from the city's national health information system from 2015 to 2022.Excel 2007 and SPSS 26.0 were used to analyze the number of managed patients,management rate,standardized management rate,blood glucose control rate,and comprehensive control of blood pressure,blood lipids,and body mass index(BMI)among managed diabetes patients.Chi-square test and linear trend chi-square statistical inference were used to evaluate the effectiveness of health management for Type 2 diabetes patients in primary level medical institutions.Test level α=0.05.Results From 2015 to 2022,the number of type 2 diabetes patients under health management in Luzhou City increased from 16 063 to 106 877,the management rate increased from 4.83%to 32.16%,the standardized management rate increased from 32.22%to 62.79%,and the blood glucose control rate increased from 39.69%to 43.70%,all of which showed an upward trend,and the linear correlation Chi-squared test showed a statistically significant difference;The blood pressure control rate,blood lipid control rate,body mass index compliance rate,physical exercise rate,triglyceride compliance rate,and low-density lipoprotein compliance rate reached their highest levels in 2016 and remained fluctuating within a certain range;The rate of reaching the standard of High-density lipoprotein,smoking rate and drinking rate did not improve significantly.Conclusions The implementation of the Basic Public Health Service Program and the Universal Preventive Health Service Program,the timely detection of diabetes patients and their integration into health management,it plays a very positive role in preventing people from returning to poverty due to illness and improving the satisfaction of the People's service.At present,there are some limitations in the assessment of health management of type 2 diabetic patients for the overall evaluation of the prevention and control effect of diabetes.
