Meta-analysis on the effects of health education intervention on self-efficacy and psychological state of patients with pancreatic cancer after surgery
Objective To explore health education in patients with pancreatic cancer on postoperative self-efficacy and the influence of psychological state,so as to provide reference for postoperative rehabilitation of patients with pancreatic cancer management and basis.Methods By using the compound logic retrieval method,the related literatures in Pubmed,China HowNet and other databases were searched by taking"Pancreatic Cancer","Pancreatic Neoplasms","Self Efficacy","Randomized controlled trial"as the search terms,and the retrieval time was from the establishment of the database to October 31,2023,and the literature on postoperative health education for patients with pancreatic cancer were screened.The risk bias assessment tool of Cochrane Collaboration was used to evaluate the included literature in the meta-analysis.Review Manager 5.3 software was used to perform the meta-analysis.The u test(Z test)was used to determine whether there was statistical significance between the combined statistics,and P value was calculated according to the u value.And α=0.05 was used as the test level.Results Finally,11 literatures were included for meta-analysis.The combined results of patients'self-efficacy and positive coping scores showed that Z=34.82(P<0.001),and the difference was statistically significant.The combined results of negative coping scores of self-efficacy showed that Z=12.12(P<0.001),and the difference was statistically significant.The combined results of patients'psychological function scores showed that SMD=1.78,95%CI was(1.57,2.00);Chi2=6.21,df=4(P=0.18);I2=36%,suggesting that there was no significant heterogeneity in the pooled literature.The fixed effect model analysis showed that the difference was statistically significant(Z=16.19,P<0.001).Conclusions Postoperative health education for pancreatic cancer patients can improve their self-efficacy and hope level,and also the bad emotion and psychological state can be improved,it is worthy of clinical application and promotion.
