Objective To analyze the characteristics of adverse events following immunization(AEFI)in Sichuan Tianfu New District Directly Administered Area from 2014 to 2022,so that to provide the basis for evaluating the safety of vaccination. Methods The data of AEFI cases reported and vaccination from 2014 to 2022 were collected from the Chinese National Notifiable Infectious Disease Reporting System and Sichuan Immunization Planning Information Management System for a descriptive epidemiological analysis. Results A total of 2003 AEFI cases were reported in Sichuan Tianfu New District Directly Administered Area from 2014 to 2022,with a total reported incidence of 75.06/105 doses. The incidence of general reactions was 68.65/105 doses, and the incidence of abnormal reactions was 5.17/105 doses.Cases were mainly concentrated in the second to fourth quarters(85.72%),Huayang street(55.16%),and children under 3 years old(80.18%).Conclusions The sensitivity of AEFI surveillance is good in Sichuan Tianfu New District Directly Administered Area from 2014 to 2022.Vaccine safety is good. However,it is still necessary to strengthen the further training, enhance the monitoring sensitivity of some streets, focus on abnormal reactions to vaccines containing measles components, and enhance the AEFI emergency response capabilities of vaccination staff.
