Analysis on the spatiotemporal distribution characteristics of HIV/AIDS in Fuling District of Chongqing from 2010 to 2022
Objective To analyze the temporal and spatial distribution characteristics of HIV/AIDS epidemic in Fuling district of Chongqing between 2010 and 2022,to provide scientific evidence for the government in implementing effective prevention and control policies. Methods The newly reported HIV/AIDS data from January 1,2010 to December 31,2022 were exported from the China Disease Prevention and Control Information System.GeoDa 1.20 and SaTScan 10.1 software were used for spatial auto-correlation analysis and spatiotemporal scanning analysis. Results A total of 1 432 HIV/AIDS cases were reported in Fuling district from 2010 to 2022.The average annual reported incidence rate was 10.01/105,and the reported incidence rate increased from 4.59/105 in 2010 to 14.71/105 in 2022,showing an upward trend(APC=9.42%,t=7.035,P<0.001).The Moran's I value of the average reported incidence rate of HIV/AIDS in Fuling district from 2010 to 2022 was 0.355(Z=3.060,P=0.003).The high and high value cluster areas were distributed in the northern region(Baisheng Town). The low value gathering areas were mainly concentrated in the eastern region(Baitao Street,Damu Township). From 2010 to 2022,there were spatiotemporal clusters of HIV/AIDS in Fuling district. Two clusters were scanned, and the first level cluster covered 11 areas, namely Longqiao Street,Linshi Street,Yihe Street,Xinmiao Town,Shituo Town,Mawu Town,Dashun Town,Longtan Town,Qingyang Town,Tongle Town, and Zengfu Town. The clustering time was from August 1,2016 to December 31,2022.Conclusions From 2010 to 2022,the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Fuling District is on the rise, and the epidemic situation has obvious spatial and temporal clustering.Health education and publicity of AIDS should be strengthened in the northern region, and detection efforts should be strengthened.
