Analysis on the impact of work pressure on occupational burnout among medical staff in township health centers in Shuozhou City in 2022
Objective To understand the work pressure and occupational burnout of medical staff in township health centers in Shuozhou City,Shanxi Province,and to analyze the impact of work pressure on occupational burnout.Methods In July 2022,a multi-stage cluster sampling method was used to select medical staff from 16 township health centers in Pinglu District and Youyu County of Shuozhou City for a questionnaire survey on occupational burnout and work stress.Descriptive analysis,t-test,one-way ANOVA and multiple linear regression analysis were conducted with a test level ofα=0.05.Results The occupational burnout score of the 251 medical workers was 27.06±13.75,and the work stress score was 32.83±17.07.The results of multiple linear regression showed that five dimensions of work pressure,including job risk,workload and working hours,medical professional work,interpersonal relationships and social support,had a significant effect on occupational burnout,explaining 16.7%of the variance in occupational burnout.Conclusions The occupational burnout of medical staff in township health centers in Shuozhou City was mainly mild,with moderate work pressure.In the future,targeted comprehensive measures should be taken to improve personal sense of achievement,establish a two-way regulation mechanism for work pressure,and reasonably arrange workload and working hours.
