Investigation and analysis on influencing factors about awareness and antiviral treatment status of 372 previous cases of hepatitis C in Yubei District of Chongqing
Objective To understand the current infection status of viral hepatitis C patients in Yubei District, the status of anti-viral therapy and its influencing factors,so as to provide reference for eliminating the harm of hepatitis C.Methods Hepatitis C cases with past reports from 2004 to 2021 in the Chinese Disease Prevention and Control Information System were selected, currently residing in Yubei District of Chongqing. An on-site questionnaire survey were conducted in 2023,blood samples were collected for virus load and genotype testing,SPSS 21.0 was used for analysis.Chi-square test and linear regression model was used to analyze the factors affecting knowledge of hepatitis C and antiviral treatment, with a test level of α=0.05.Results Among 372 cases of hepatitis C,the average awareness rate of HCV prevention and treatment knowledge was 52.11%(2 326/4 464),and the rate of anti-virus treatment was 52.96%(197/372).30.91%(115/372)of the cases were positive for nucleic acid.A total of five genotypes were found.Type 3 was the dominant genotype, accounted for 47.83%,of which type 3b accounted for 28.70%(33/115),and Type 3a accounted for 19.13%(22/115).Multiple linear regression analysis showed that patients with occupation, high school education or above had a higher rate of antiviral therapy. Conclusions The awareness rate of knowledge about prevention and treatment and the rate of receiving anti-virus treatment in patients with hepatitis C reported in Yubei District from 2004 to 2021 were low.It is necessary to strengthen the targeted publicity and education to improve the health awareness of patients.
