Monitoring and analysis on pathogenic microbial pollution in food products on the market in Weihai city from 2020 to 2022
Objective To Investigate the contamination of pathogenic microorganisms in food sold in Weihai city from 2020 to 2022,so as to provide reference for food safety accident prevention and control. Methods From 2020 to 2022,a random sampling was conducted in supermarkets, agricultural markets, mobile stalls, restaurants and other places in vari-ous districts of Weihai city, collecting a total of 496 specimens from 13 types of commercially available foods.According to the National Food Pollution and Harmful Factors Risk Monitoring Manual and the National Food Safety Standard GB 4789,7 pathogenic microorganisms in commercially available food were detected, including Salmonella,Yersinia enterocolitica,Escherichia coli,Listeria monocytogenes,Bacillus cereus,Norovirus, and Clostridium perfringens. Results The total detection rate of pathogenic microorganisms in commercially available food from 2020 to 2022 was 14.51%(72/496),and there was a statistically significant difference in the detection rate of pathogenic microorganisms in commer-cially available food among different years(x2=9.99,P<0.01).Among the 7 pathogenic microorganisms,Bacillus cereus had the highest detection rate(15.72%,25/159),followed by Norovirus(6.67%,6/90).The detection rate of pathogenic microorganisms in processed meat products was the highest(33.33%,10/30),while the detection rates of pathogenic microorganisms in rice and flour products, raw poultry meat, and raw animal meat were 30.00%(6/20),23.33%(7/20),and 18.18%(14/77),respectively.There was a statistically significant difference in the detection rates of bacteria and viruses among different types of food(x2=39.45,P<0.01).Conclusion The safety of commercially a-vailable food in Weihai city from 2020 to 2022 is generally good, but there are foodborne pathogenic microorganisms with varying degrees of contamination.
