Research progress on strontium content in food and drinking water and its detection method
Food and drinking water are the most common and safe ways of strontium intake in the human body,and as public awareness of the physiological role of the element strontium gradually increases,so does the concern about stronti-um levels in food and drinking water.Strontium has various physiological functions on the body,playing a positive role in promoting bone health,preventing cardiovascular diseases,and regulating reproductive health.The amount of strontium in food is related to its type,the water quality of the planting area,and the strontium content in the soil,the strontium con-tent in daily food is low and there is a significant difference in strontium content between different foods,similarly,there is a significant difference in strontium content in daily drinking water,therefore the detection of strontium content in food and drinking water has become extremely important.In order to meet the needs of testing organizations for the detection of strontium in food and drinking water,the existing methods for strontium in food and drinking water were sorted out and reviewed,with a view to providing references for the detection of strontium in food and drinking water as well as dietary surveys of the population.
