Determination and analysis of 25 kinds of elements in various vegetables by microwave digestion-inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry
Objective To establish a method for simultaneous determination of 25 elements in various vegetables by In-ductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry(ICP-MS)method,which can provide a new method for the determination of the contents of elements in various vegetables. Methods The vegetable samples(spinach,Chinese cabbage,celery,cu-cumber,tomato,radish,potato,long bean)were digested in nitric acid by microwave digestion, the digestion solution was transferred to a 25 mL volumetric flask with pure water after digestion. Then microwave digestion was adopted, and rea-sonable internal standards was selected to eliminate the interference.ICP-MS method was used to test the contents of 25 elements in vegetables. The 25 elements include K,Na,Mg,Ca,Al,Fe,Mn,Zn,Li,B,V,Cr,Co,Ni,Cu,As,Se,Rb,Sr,Mo,Cd,Sn,Sb,Ba,Pb.Results The experimental results showed that the detection limit of 25 elements was within 0.002-0.2 mg/kg,and the linear correlation coefficient of all elements was greater than 0.999.The recovery rates of the method were within 84.1%-108%,and the relative standard deviations were within 1.3%-6.9%.The analyzed results of 25 elements in GBW10024 were consistent with the certified values, the accuracy rates of the method were within 86.2%-114%,which can meet the demand of simultaneous determination of 25 elements in various vegetables. Conclusion The method is rapid, accurate and reliable, with low detection limit and high accuracy, and the sample pre-treatment is simple and easy, which is suitable for the analysis and detection of 25 elements in a variety of vegetable samples.
