Research progress on health intervention policies and measures for prepackaged food at home and abroad
As the pace of work continues to accelerate,more and more residents are choosing to purchase prepackaged foods that are convenient to consume and easy to store.Prepackaged food tends to contain high levels of sodium,fat and added sugar,and excessive intake of these nutrients can lead to obesity,hypertension,cardiovascular diseases and other nu-trition-related chronic diseases.A series of intervention policies and measures have been introduced to reduce the intake of sodium,fat and added sugars in prepackaged foods,which is of great significance in guiding consumers to make rational choices of prepackaged foods.This article provides a review of health intervention policies and measures in some countries and regions,with a view to providing a reference basis for China to continue to carry out health interventions on prepack-aged foods.
