Progress of pretreatment technology for methylmercury detection in seafood
Methylmercury is closely combined with sulfhydryl group in biological samples, and needs to be analyzed after appropriate pretreatment. The sample pretreatment determines the detection limit and accuracy of the whole method,mak-ing it a key step in the morphological analysis of organic mercury. In seafood, mercury exists in various forms. How to sep-arate the components to be tested from the sample without changing their morphology, prevent sample contamination and reduce the loss of target objects are an important problem to be solved in the analysis of mercury morphology, which is al-so the focus of future research.Different separation and detection instruments require different pre-treatments,and even the same separation and detection instrument varies depending on the number of elemental species being analyzed. This pa-per summarizes the pretreatment techniques required for methylmercury detection in recent years and provides an outlook.
