As an important link of economic and cultural exchange between China and foreign countries,the Silk Road in the Middle Ages gave birth to the tourism culture of the Silk Road with regional characteristics.The ancients often played and watched some entertainment items when feasting,known as feasting and entertainment.It mainly included the following three aspects.The first was an interactive amusement with high entertainment and participation.The second was ornamental banquet entertainment,known for its"strangeness"and"danger".Most of these events took place at official banquets,court banquets and official gatherings.The third is the banquet sports dance on the Silk Road.These entertainments are often found in the murals of the Mogao Grottoes,Dunhuang documents and traditional literature.The historical observation of the banquet and entertainment of the Silk Road and the social life at that time can provide an effective way to explore the social and cultural exchanges in Sui and Tang dynasty.
