During the development and construction of Pingcheng in the Northern Wei dynasty,Tuoba Xianbei immigrated to the capital,which gathered large-scale human resources in Pingcheng.The arrival of a large number of Buddhist monks brought an opportunity for the excavation of Yungang Grottoes and the development of Pingcheng Buddhism,which was the turning point of the formation scale of Pingcheng Buddhism.In the early Northern Wei dynasty,a large number of Buddhist temples were built,the number of monks and nuns increased rapidly,the Buddhist temple economy gradually rose,and the temple organization also changed.The Buddhist economic structural system was constructed.The formation of Pingcheng Buddhist economic system was an important period for the development of Buddhism in China.
