Quzu'an is a type of traditional furniture of Han ethnic group prevailing in the era of floor sitting,which has important research value.Based on the analysis and comparison of the relevant materials of Quzu'an unearthed in Pingcheng area during the Northern Wei dynasty,this paper concludes that there were two different images of Quzu'an at that time,i.e.high Quzu'an and low Quzu'an,and further discusses its use space and function.Then combining with the literature and archaeological materials,the paper analyzes and compares the images of Quzu'an in different areas of the Han and Wei dynasties,discusses the use and popularity of Quzu'an at that time,and excavates the high Quzu'an in Pingcheng era of the Northern Wei dynasty,finally from the Quzu'an in the Northern Wei dynasty to the shadow of social changes such as living style and ethnic integration at that time.
