This paper summarizes and sorts out the lineage of Yu Jing's clan in the Northern dynasty and its affinity with the royal family of Northern Qi dynasty by starting with Epitaph of Yu Mao,and combining the historical materials and all the epitaphs of his family.This supplements the gap of information about his family's life and official positions recorded in historical books.It al-so makes an analysis and interpretation of the places of Shanwu county,Pingcheng in Dai county,Dina in Tai'an county and Huang-tai,the ancestral graves.In addition,the paper discusses the calligraphic cultural value of Epitaph of Yu Mao and Epitaph of the Prin-cess of Yongchang County.
