Research on Composite Copper Powder Catalyst for Synthesis of Silicone Monomer
Methylchlorosilane was synthesized by silicon powder and methyl chloride in a straight-tube fixed stirred bed reac-tor.The performance of three composite copper catalysts was evaluated by calculating the selectivity and silicon conversion rate of dimethyl dichlorosilane(M2).The results show that the catalytic performance of self-produced powder C is relatively good. The average selectivity of M2 with powder C is 91.89%in the reaction, and the silicon conversion rate is 59.24%.Powder C is thin-ner and finer,it also has higher specific surface area, and lower density and finer particle size, which is beneficial to form more active centers with silicon powder in the synthesis of methylchlorosilane.
