Study on Fatigue Life of Phenyl Silicone Rubber at Low Temperature
We studied the dynamic stiffness,strain energy density,and fatigue life of phenyl silicone rubber at-40~20 ℃,and verified the consistency between the experimental results and the fatigue life calculation formula based on crack growth theory.The results show that when the temperature increases,the phenyl silicone rubber decreases its dynamic stiffness and strain energy density,but increases the fatigue life,whose characteristics meet the prediction model of the fatigue life.
