Research Progress in Preparation and Application of Silicone Resin Emulsions
Silicone resin emulsion is a polymer emulsion formed by mechanical dispersion of highly crosslinked polysiloxane containing Si—O—Si in the main chain under the action of external emulsifier or hydrophilic group.It is environmentally friendly and can be used in water-based high-temperature resistant coatings,waterproof coatings,water-based adhesives,daily chemicals and finishing agents for textiles,paper and leather.The silicone emulsion is reviewed on preparation,application and the future development.
