Analysis of the therapeutic effect of ultrasonic-guided hydraulic enema reduction in children with intussusception
Objective To compare and analyze the therapeutic effect of ultrasound-guided hydraulic enema reduction and X-ray guided air enema reduction in the treatment of intussusception. Methods The clinical data of 72 children with intus-susception who were hospitalized in hospital from June 2022 to June 2023 and underwent enema reduction treatment were col-lected.Children with ultrasound-guided hydraulic enema reduction were selected as observation group(n=36),and those with X-ray guided air enema reduction were selected as control group(n=36).And then, the time required for enema re-duction,total days of hospitalization, reduction success rate, early recurrence rate during hospitalization, and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results After reduction, the success rate of reduction was 97.22%in the observation group and 77.78%in the control group, and difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05);the hospitalization time, reduction time, and gastrointestinal function recovery time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group(P<0.001),and there was no statistically significant difference in the re-currence rate between the two groups during hospitalization(P>0.05);the total incidence of adverse reactions and related complications in the observation group was 13.89%,and that in the control group was 36.11%,and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Compared with X-ray guided air enema reduction,ul-trasound-guided saline enema reduction can shorten reduction time, hospitalization days and gastrointestinal function recovery time, alleviate adverse reactions, improve gastrointestinal functions and reduce the incidence of complications, and the clini-cal efficacy is more satisfactory, which is worthy of further promotion and application.
