Analysis of epidemiological characteristics of influenza in Liuzhou City from 2018 to 2023
Objective To analyze the epidemiological characteristics of influenza in Liuzhou City from 2018 to 2023,so as to provide scientific basis for formulating corresponding prevention and control strategies.Methods The data of newly re-ported influenza-like ( ILI) cases from 2018 to 2023 were extracted from the influenza surveillance system of the information system of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention,and the data of ILI cases reported in Liuzhou City were sta-tistically analyzed by descriptive research methods.Results A total of 248 256 ILI cases were reported in Liuzhou from 2018 to 2023,accounting for 3.10％ annually,and 196 influenza clusters were reported,and ILI％ among different years was statistically significant ( x2=1 241 280.00,P<0.001),and the highest ILI％ in 2023 was 6.24％.The incidence of in-fluenza was generally increasing year by year ( x2trend=164 610.479,P<0.001) .The incidence of ILI cases was obviously seasonal,and the epidemic peak was from December to January each year.Children under the age of 15 were the highest in-cidence group,accounting for 79.95％.Conclusion The incidence of ILI cases in Liuzhou City is on the rise,mainly in young and middle-aged people.Epidemic prevention and control should focus on key population as the main body of preven-tion and control and education,promote influenza vaccination,and strengthen the prevention and control of influenza in schools and other places.
