In Beijinqi volcanic basin, the former exploration efforts have evaluated the uranium mineralization potential, which bears the representative characteristics in the volcanic rock belt of northern Xinjiang. In this paper, three typical uranium-polymetallic mineralization zones in the southern and northern margin and the central part of the basin were studied. The characteristics of geology, mineralization and altered mineral assemblages of each zone were comprehensively described,a regional uranium metallogenic model was established by summarizing and analyzing the main ore controlling factors and their effects.Uranium polymetallic mineralization in Beijinqi region is controlled by multiple factors. The overall distribution of uranium-polymetallic mineralization is controlled by volcanic basins and NEE-trending regional major faults, the faults in the northern and southern margin of the basin are more important than those in the central. The secondary fault zone and fracture zone on both sides of the major fault in the basin are the main ore-bearing structures.Acid volcanic lava and acid tuff(breccia)are the main host rock which also provide some uranium sources to the uranium mineralization. The intrusion of granite-porphyry and other magmatic rocks is the main metallogenic events of uranium-polymetall,the ore-bearing fluids was migrated by the intrusion activities of magma such as granite porphyry penetrating along the fault resulted from the collapse of volcanic institutions, and enriched in the favorable structures and lithology.
