Analysis of Uranium Mineralization Characteristics in Dalin Area of Southwestern Songliao Basin
Dalin uranium deposit is a recently discovered sandstone-type one located in the southwestern Songliao Basin. This study aims to analyze the characteristics of uranium mineralization within the ore bodies, the occurrence state of uranium. The research findings indicate that,on a larger scale, the deposit host Yaojia Formation shows significant development of oxidized sandstone layers, and the uranium mineralization is characterized by multiple layers predominantly controlled by oxidation zones.Under microscopic examination, uranium is primarily found in an adsorbed state, with fewer occurrences of independent uranium minerals, and the pitchblende being the main independent uranium mineral. There exists a hydrothermal mineral combination containing both titanium-uranium minerals and sphalerite. In summarizing,it can be inferred that Dalin uranium deposit, along with the adjacent Qianjiadian uranium deposit and Baolongshan uranium deposit, are similar in genesis, they are the overlay products of both the supergene fluids and hot fluids.
