Fault Characteristics and Uranium Prospecting Direction in Pajiang Area of Fogang Pluton in Northern Guangdong
The fault structure in Pajiang area of the central Fogang complex pluton in northern Guangdong province is mainly divided into five groups:nearly east-west,northeast,north west, north northeast, north north west and nearly south-north.The paper conducted field survey and indoor comprehensive analysis of the five groups of fault structures, and divided the fault structure in the area into three levels:the first level faults are nearly east-west Shegang-Menloufu fault and Zhuyuan-Caoziding fault;the second level faults are northeast Xianrenshi fault and Tangtang fault;the third level faults are northeast, northewest, north north west and nearly south-north.Among them, the nearly east-west and northeast faults are compression-torsion faults, which control the distribution and output of uranium deposits and occurrences in the area, and are important rock-control and ore-control faults;the north north-west No.17 fault, nearly south-north No.5,No.83 and F1-1 faults are tensile-torsion faults, which are the main ore-bearing structures, and the secondary north east No.2,F1 faults is a minor ore-bearing fault. The comprehensive analysis shows that the north north-west No.17 fault and nearly south-north No.5,No.83 and F1-1 faults in the area are the key expose target of the next project.
